

No other hero has fought Hell five different times and lived to tell of it. It all helped build up the most iconic video game hero to this day, it helped set him to a legendary status that no other hero will ever attain. DOOM even had a story line (be it very bad with todays standards) but still a good story line to those who played it back in the day. Putting a story line with this game, as to which city, as to how he got this way, and such other factors could make a very interesting a gritty story line. It can be just about as the story of Rampage: Capital Punishment, and I know it isn't the best story, but then again that is all a matter of opinion. I believe you are wrong here, let me explain.

In fact, from the looks of it, hatred's teaser opening intro is about as much story as we are going to get from this game! It wasnt built on a story outside of you are a Unnamed character that is tormentented by "life" enough to push him over the edge. I dont think a game where the basis of the game is to kill as many people before you either kill yourself or are killed is really needing to focus on a "campaign".
